Poola Poodle- (strong
French accent)
Hello little
dahhlings. That Henry Hound is such a dog. He is
such a dog that he is a dog's dog. Are you
listening to me my little dahhhlings? I have
never met such a doggy of a dog in all my entire
life. He is such a dog that I bet he even eats
corn dogs for breakfast.
Henry Hound-
(enters angry with a
strong New York accent)
Now
just a New York minute there Mrs. Poodle
Doodle! Who you callin a dog? I'll show you a
dog! I'll show you a dog!
Poola Poddle-
Poodle Doodle? How uncivilized. I mean really,
how immature. Do you believe the dogginess of
this dog, my little dahhlings? His dog breath is
fogging up my diamonds dahhlings.
Henry Hound-
Oh, I'll fog up your diamonds alright! I'll fog
up your diamonds!
Poola
Poodle- You already
have. So trifling. Isn't it so my little
dahhlings? Just Trifling!
Leader-
Okay. Wait just a
minute you two. I have heard quite enough. What
is going on? All this name calling and bickering
between you two. Have you not heard about the
golden rule?
Poola Poodle-
If it is made of gold, I already have it. Thanks
anways Mrs. Dahhhling.
Leader-
It's not something that you have, it is
something that you do. The golden rule is simply
treating others the way you would like to be
treated yourself. Before you act or speak, stop
and think if what you are about to do or say to
someone would be what you would want somebody
else to do or say to you. With that said, can I
ask why you called Henry a dog? Honestly, you
are both dogs. Very lovely dogs, but still dogs.
Henry Hound-
What? I'm not a dog! I'm a puppet!
Poola Poodle-
Indeed! Come on Henry. We'll
forgive her, and we will love Mrs. Dahhling just
the same, but we do not have to stick around and
listen to her calling us dogs. We are puppets
through and through. Honestly, how many dogs do
you know in the high fashion industry such as
mauh? Tootles my little dahhhlings.
(both
puppets exit)
Leader-
Ooops. I guess I will have to apologize later. (ask children why the
feel it is important to treat others the way
they would like to be treated)
